TARGET AUDIENCE

The courses’ target audience will be clinical fellows and early-career neurosurgeons with interest in cerebrovascular pathologies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Overall Course Learning Objectives

• Provide evidence-based recommendations for the management of intracranial aneurysms.
• Combine clinical and anatomical data to formulate a surgical or endovascular treatment plan.
• Apply technical nuances in microsurgical techniques:

– Microvascular dissection: simulation of opening of the sylvian fissure

– Aneurysms: temporary and permanent clipping, intra-operative rupture

– Microsuturing

Language: the official language is English.

SUBSCRIPTION FEE

Association and membership

The participantss enrolled with reduced fees must be regularly registered with the specified associations at the time of both session dates (May and June). The regularity of registrations will be verified following enrollment and before each course.

In case of irregularities, the integration of the registration fee will be requested, along with a penalty of 50€. Failure to make this integration will result in the cancellation of the registration without refunds.

In the case of cancellation of a training course by the AIMS Academy due to failure to reach the minimum number of participants, the customer will be notified with minimum 30 days of anticipation from the date of the first course. In such case, the Customer will only have the right to the reimbursement of the price paid or postponement of the same training course to another date.

The actual conduct of the course will be communicated within April 12th.
